John Cena’s Vince McMahon Comments Are Deeply Concerning
Share:

John Cena recently made some deeply concerning comments on Vince McMahon and it’s kind of worrying actually.

John Cena is widely regarded as Vince McMahon’s greatest babyface creation. Yes, you can argue it’s The Rock, or Stone Cold, or Hulk Hogan. But one had to turn heel to be accepted by fans, one organically grew with a promo and some great catchphrases, while the third was over before Vince McMahon laid his eyes on him. Nobody was manufactured into the main event babyface role like Cena, and perhaps that is why the star always feels so indebted to McMahon.

During a recent interview with The Guardian, the WWE legend stated that he will never go against Vince McMahon and that he accepts when someone is not perfect.

“I have no guilt nor shame about my friendship and my relationship with Vince McMahon, you’re obviously going to put this in [your] article. It’s OK to love somebody when they’re not perfect.”

John Cena Has Lost His Mind With The Vince McMahon Comments

It’s okay to love a person for what they have done in your career and life. However, to completely disregard the fact that he was a monster of a human being to not one but multiple human beings and that is what ultimately tarnished his legacy, is a completely different and highly problematic matter.

Cena has to understand that what he regards as “not perfect” is a man who has been accused of incredible things like se**al trafficking, and overall doing things to women without their consent. John Cena has to be mature enough to distance his love for Vince McMahon the boss vs Vince McMahon the human being, and as a human being Vince was much worse than “not perfect.”

Yes, it’s normal for Cena to feel a sense of loyalty to McMahon after all the latter has done for him. But loyalty should never come at the price of morality, and here the 17-time world champion seems to have sold out his moral obligations.

Vince McMahon is a legend as a booker, and treated Cena with the utmost love and respect throughout his, but that will never change the fact that he wronged a lot of women and used his money to shut them up.
