The Rock has blasted WWE in a way and things have gotten really worse.
It’s not a secret that The Final Boss and WWE are on the best of terms. The Rock disappeared from WWE after Elimination Chamber last year and since then it has been quite the silence from him about WWE.
He recently posted about Pac and then went on to talk about how AEW was good for business and that it was a great company. He even went on to call Tony Khan and QT Marshall his friends.
This eventually led to Dave Meltzer reporting that many backstage in WWE were left “surprised” at The Brahma Bull addressing AEW and praising them of sorts.
The Rock Has Responded
In an Instagram comment, The Rock responded to the claims that WWE was surprised stating that humanity mattered to him and that he was born into the business.
He then went on to say that, “when one of our own passes away, I don’t care nor do I see “our competition,” I care about the wrestlers and how it affects them. I’ve been there. To me, humanity matters most.”
The Rock And WWE’s Rift Is Real
It’s clear that The Rock has finally spoken out about the competition and how it did not matter to him what WWE’s take was on the matter.
It’s insane to think that someone on the stature of The Rock would speak out so openly about something like this and clearly define the boundaries that he has set for himself.

It’s possible that behind the scenes TKO execs may not have taken too kindly to this. Ultimately this could be the core reason behind the rift.
The Brahma Bull may not be seeing eye to eye with WWE and TKO at the moment and this has led to matters getting worse.
Whatever the issue may have been, this is the first time The Rock has spoken out so publicly against his the company on whose Board of Directors he sits.
It’s an absurd scenario and possible something that may be way deeper than we know.
