WWE RAW has a problem that very few want to talk about and it’s eating away at the show’s credibility.
RAW feels like a show that has a lot going for it but there’s also a lot holding it back. Roman Reigns is by miles and miles the biggest star on the show. However, whenever he’s not there some things automatically feel flatter than they usually would.
WWE RAW Feels Very Low On Star Power
On days where Roman Reigns isn’t on the show, RAW feels like a show that barely scrapes by. The factions have gotten stale to a point where The Judgment Day isn’t even a draw.
The Vision on the other hand basically revolves around Bron Breakker, and the tag team title scene is non-existent. On top of that, The Bloodline in 2026 is about as entertaining as watching paint dry.
The 946 stuff is entertaining, but they have been reduced to backstage segments. I don’t want to hear jokes being cracked on JD McDonagh’s head any more. Bayley has returned and already lost on the show, AGAIN, bringing her momentum to a grinding halt.
Even someone as over as LA Knight felt a bit bland this week with his promo missing a mark on a lot of things.
It’s not to say that WWE hasn’t stacked RAW with talent. As a matter of fact, when used well, the show has a plethora of great wrestlers and workers who can do some great stuff, but their usage and booking have been subpar.
In due course, the show will need an overhaul, changes that will be necessary for it to match the standards of 2024/25.
It will have to learn how to move past Roman Reigns as their biggest bankable stars.
Yes, they have built Oba Femi and Bron Breakker for these purposes, and it’s only a matter of time before they are called upon to work their magic.
Along with that, megastars like Dominik Mysterio and Roxanne Perez are being wasted while we have to listen to Joe Hendry sing about large heads.
