PWT WWE RAW Rundown: The Bloodline Is Clueless; Predictable AF; Oba Femi Deserves Better [10/05]

Welcome to the WWE RAW rundown from Pro Wrestling Takes as we take you through another bland show where very little actually happened.

The go-home episode of WWE RAW before Money in the Bank kicked off with Roman Reigns and LA Knight facing off ahead of their World Heavyweight Title match. This was by far, and I mean BYYYY FAAARRRRRR, the best promo segment on the show with both stars getting their respective jabs in. Knight called him a corporate plant and mocked his teeth while Roman called Knight a hypocrite.

That’s about all when it comes to the good parts of WWE RAW, because the rest of the show was abysmal.

The 946 stuff is good, but we are still waiting for an explanation as to why Jaida Parker and the rest of the guys decided to gang up in the first place. Meanwhile, none of the 300 tag team matches on the show delivered anyway with most of the stars are being there for the sake of filling up the two and a half hours.

This was largely what RAW was really, a filler show before an important PLE, and nobody wants to do it right.

The Bloodline Stuff Is Clueless Booking

There are so many things wrong with the Bloodline that it should really be a piece unto itself. But here we are. Jimmy and Jey have gone from being men who started thinking for themselves and winning individual titles (only Jey really) to being the lackeys of Roman Reigns yet again.

The stars still shudder at the Roman’s arrival and then just directly follow his orders. What happened to Main Event Jey who could win titles on his own and tackle people on his own? What happened to the Jimmy Uso who was going around slapping Gunther?

They randomly change from being babyfaces one week to heels the next, and then back to being babyfaces. There’s zero consistency or continuity in any of the storylines.

Roman Reigns magically found Solo Sikoa after he was missing for 13 days and that was the end of it. We didn’t even get a segment explaining where Solo was and why he was teaming up with The Bloodline.

All of this is so questionable and so catastrophically bad that it baffles you as to what the thought process is behind all this.

WWE RAW Is Predictable AF!!

For the past few days everyone and their grandmothers predicted the Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan number on contender match to end in a DQ and lo and behold that is exactly what happened.

Things got messy and Stephanie Vaquer ran in to ruin the match and make it a Triple Threat at Money in the Bank. First of all, what a dumb babyface, second, yeah it’s too predictable.

Everything on the show is predictable, apart from a few things here and there, you just know how things are going to begin and end. There will either be run-ins from people feuding with each other, or just brawls that end before they can even begin.

Every Vision, Judgment Day, and other tag team matches end in basically the same way, Chad Gable continues to fetish over luchadors for no reason and gives out random matches, while JD McDonagh gets 300 jokes cracked on his head.

Seriously, who’s writing this? And more importantly, who are you writing this for?

On The Subject Of Oba Femi

Oba Femi won the King of the Ring tournament, was guaranteed a world title and everyone just forgot about it? Of course he had to relinquish it first, then go defeat Brock Lesnar, and then feud with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Great, but that world title match? How long is that KOTR win valid? Is it like Money in the Bank?

So many questions, and all we are getting is another alliance and three-man team with Penta, Je’Von Evans and Femi vs The Vision. Of course that match is coming soon, possibly after MITB.

Do we seriously not have anything else for Femi to do? Anything? You know how much a Seth Rollins feud could have helped him? Or even another match with Bron Breakker. Of course it’s a match for a later date, but Femi is so good and so energetic that it feels like there’s nothing that is being done right with the guy.
