WWE fans are fuelled by speculation and expectations for dream matches that they may get to see once in a lifetime. But the biggest dream match may never happen.
Whether it’s The Undertaker vs John Cena (in a proper match), or AJ Styles vs Shawn Michaels, some dream matches almost never happen. For years we craved to see The Undertaker and Cena go at it with fans hoping two of the biggest superstars of their generations will have a chance to fight in the middle of the ring. The same was true for Styles and Michaels, with two of the greats never getting the chance to entertain fans. That being said, fans have also been treated to some great dream matches including Cena vs The Rock, or Stone Cold vs Kevin Owens, and even The Rock vs Hulk Hogan.
However, the one dream match that would have made the company a fortune and sold out the biggest stadiums in the world is unlikely to happen anytime soon, if ever.

WWE Will Never Make The Rock Vs Roman Reigns Happen
It seems WWE fans’ dream of seeing The Rock battle his family member Roman Reigns will remain just that – a dream. It was previously reported that Saudi Arabia would have loved to have The Brahma Bull return to action at WrestleMania 43 and face The OTC. They would have paid great money for it and the chances were high that it would happening soon.
However, it seems that those plans are up in the air. According to Dave Meltzer, The Final Boss is set to start filming for the Fast and the Furious franchise’s latest instalment in December which would mean that shooting will definitely not wrap up in time for WrestleMania. The shooting schedule would also mean that The People’s Champ won’t be able to train to get in ring shape and have that match, essentially putting it off the table.
This also means that the match is unlikely to ever happen. The Rock vs Roman Reigns is too big a match to not happen at WrestleMania, which means the next best bet would be WrestleMania 44 in 2028. By that time The Rock will be almost 56 and would be way way way past his prime. Roman Reigns is already past the phase where he is a full-time wrestler, despite all his claims, and by the time ‘Mania 44 rolls around he will be touching 43. It is also possible that in this time Reigns’ schedule would have further diminished and he would have entered Hollywood too.
As Meltzer said, The Brahma Bull has too much pride to somehow get by in a match. If he is there he would have had proper training, thereby increasing the chances of injuries, which in turn would deviate him from his movie schedule. It’s a conundrum he would very much not want to get into.
It’s not to say that the match may never happen, but let’s face it, would you really be interested in seeing a 56-year-old Rock vs a 43-year-old Roman Reigns? Two ageing stars, who are way past their primes, trying to deliver for the fans?
The Bloodline story has certainly been the best story in WWE in a long long time. It has elevated Roman Reigns to the level that he is certainly on par on wrestling starpower as The Rock.
So it’s safe to say that WWE as much as they would like, will probably never be able to pit The Brahma Bull and The Tribal Chief in the same ring. As a matter of fact, with Rocky being away from the promotion as the moment, whether he will ever return also remains a mystery.
